Information for Teachers

At Granville Academy, all teachers are considered to be teachers of careers and are expected to support the academy in ensuring students leave the academy with the skills required to be successful in their chosen profession, as well as a clear vision of the relevance of the subjects they study to future employment.

This is done through the delivery of the curriculum by:

·        Linking subject content to careers, where appropriate

·        Developing student’s employability skills

·        Preparing students for further education

·        Experiences of external speakers, where appropriate

·        Trips and excursions link to future education and employment
